SKYFORIA was formed during Lockdown 2020, by childhood friends Rory McCaffer and Craig Griffith.

Drinking a couple of “socially distanced” cans of beer one night, sat on a bench “down Penarth sea front” (in Wales), enjoying a rare social moment in all the madness of lockdown.

'We Are The Dead' is the second album from SKYFORIA.

8 new songs of metal/rock goodness just for you!

The title is a quote from the George Orwell novel 1984.

In the book the line implies that The Party's aim is to destroy all pleasure in life and change its meaning into pure duty to the Party. But for us the idea of accepting that 'We Are The Dead' already, means that the aim of life is to make the most of the journey on the way to death. To find at least one moment of pure joy in every day is a life well lived. By acknowledging that we are already dead, we are free to live.

As Marcus Aurelius reminds us, "Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now, take what's left and live it properly."

We Are The Dead  is available on Vinyl, CD and all digital platforms on 31/10/206
